• Medieval Zone has a commitment to supply quality hand built solid wood model castles, siege equipment and accessories to collectors of Elastolin, Britains or other Toy Soldiers. The scale fits 54mm to 70 mm figures. To date the scale is the same for all pre-built pieces and all kits. This large scale is designated (series 01) or (series 01K for the Kits).

• All products are made from solid hand cut pine, spruce, and fir lumber, hand fitted and held together with the best carpenters glue and/or wooden pegs.

• Everything such as doors, drawbridges, wheels and pulleys work on the castle and siege equipment. Replacement parts are available if anything gets lost or broken.

• Start with one castle piece and add to it as you can afford. Everything is light and modular and just slides into place. The siege equipment fits all of the (series 01) model castles and (series 01K) model castle kits produced and can be used with other model castles on the market or as stand alone displays on the desk or credenza. They do look great.

• Every item is uniquely different due to variations in wood and because they are hand made. For this reason the castle pieces and larger siege and accessory pieces are identified by a unique number shield with the makers initials, and unique number of that item.

• Every product built is very strong and can be used for play or display. The castles will withstand the siege of time to become collectors pieces just like your Elastolin, Britains or other collector Toy Soldiers.

• Everything on these pages except for some accessories is made by the Medieval Zone. Designs are borrowed from actual medieval castles and equipment and with imagination thrown in these unique pieces have been created for your enjoyment.

• All castle pieces are made for easy access to place figures and allow viewing while keeping within the bounds of authenticity.

• New designs and accessories are continuously being built to allow the serious collector a continuous supply of new and exciting additions throughout the years to come. We're here to stay.

• Try your own hand at building a beautiful wood castle either by starting with one of our kits or purchasing the blocks from the supplies section and creating your own personal castle. Just let your imagination go.

• All items are sold oiled with a natural Danish oil that gives them a beautiful Patina with age. They can also be purchased un-oiled if the collector wants to stain or paint the castle a particular color to match a certain building stone, such a a grey granite. These castles have a color close to a weathered buff sandstone.

• We will consider custom work if a collector wants a certain item or a particular design of castle built or even a size or other alteration in any of the existing castle or siege pieces on these pages. Tell us what you want and we'll let you know if we can realistically do it and what it will cost.
